You may also need libtiff and libjpeg. If so.. I tried diffrent versions of pdflib (3.01 and 3.02) but nothing helped I coudn't get it to work. At the end I tried php 4.0.3.pl1 with pdflib 3.02 and that configured and compiled perfectly. So propably in the change to 4.0.4 someone missed something.
