rtrim under odd circumstances returns a truncated string.

Test script:
---------------
<?php
$str = "performance-details";
echo rtrim($str,"-details");
?>

Expected result:
----------------
Should return 'performance'

Actual result:
--------------
Returns 'performanc' - the final e is dropped.
