I don't think it makes much sense to fix the compile error, since
the extension can't work with PHP 7.3+ anyway[1].  As of PHP
7.4.0, there is a built-in WeakReference class[2] which partially
can serve as replacement.

Anyhow, assigning to maintainer.

Ah, thanks for the info.. didn't notice these changes.

I was upgrading a legacy project using PHP 7.0 and we rely on WeakRef heavily.

I will stick to PHP 7.2 for the moment until.
