Trying to connect to ORACLE 8 (oracle client 8.1.5.0.0) Data Base I always obtain
this error:
Warning:  _oci_open_server: ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve service name.

Using php3 no problem arise.

Here is the code:

$password  =   "password";
$dbName    =   "oracle instance";
$conn = OCIPlogon ($user, $password, $dbName);
