Bug #75365 Enchant still reports version 1.1.0
Submitted: 2017-10-12 13:55 UTC Modified: 2017-10-15 11:44 UTC
From: cmb@php.net Assigned: cmb (profile)
Status: Closed Package: Enchant related
PHP Version: 7.0.24 OS: *
Private report: No CVE-ID: None
 [2017-10-12 13:55 UTC] cmb@php.net
Description:
------------
In the PHP info ext/enchant still reports version 1.1.0, even though that has
been the latest PECL/enchant version (released 2009). To somewhat alleviate
this, there is also a revision which is, however, a not really meaningful hash.
Since the extension is bundled, it appears to be more correct to use
PHP_VERSION, and to remove the revision hash.

Test script:
---------------
php -i | grep -A 3 "enchant support"

Expected result:
----------------
enchant support => enabled
Version => 7.0.26-dev
Libenchant Version => 1.5.x

Actual result:
--------------
enchant support => enabled
Version => 1.1.0
Libenchant Version => 1.5.x
Revision => $Id: 77f6840161c5b8604f9815ffce7708199b620f50 $
