Bug #74832 Loading PHP extension with already registered function name leads to a crash
Submitted: 2017-06-29 18:21 UTC Modified: 2017-06-29 18:21 UTC
From: jpauli@php.net Assigned: jpauli
Status: Closed Package: Scripting Engine problem
PHP Version: 7.0.20 OS: *
Private report: No CVE-ID:
 [2017-06-29 18:21 UTC] jpauli@php.net
Description:
------------
If you register an extension that declares a function name already in use (f.e reset()) , the engine crashes.

This is because the engine dlclose() the .so but forgets to remove the extension from the module_registry. Hence a crash when it comes to sort modules.
