We get reproducable segfault after running "/bin/kill -SIGUSR1 `cat /var/run/php-fpm/ 2>/dev/null` 2>/dev/null || true" from the shell or logrotate.

php-fpm[4079]: segfault at 7f7ad468c865 ip 00007f7aedf025eb sp 00007ffed657c140 error 4 in php-fpm[7f7aedc6c000+3e7000]

Fedora // Ubuntu same same

Test script:
Try this after Surfing a few pages.

/bin/kill -SIGUSR1 `cat /var/run/php-fpm/ 2>/dev/null` 2>/dev/null || true
