Same issue. This is the error message:
Catchable fatal error: session_regenerate_id(): Failed to create(read) session ID: memcache (path: tcp://[ip removed]:11211,tcp://[ip removed]:11211) in /appl/www/...[path removed].../lib/Zend/Session.php on line 320

Line 320 is where "session_regenerate_id()" is called.
