Hi

It's great that PHP 7.0 imporved runtime performance and 7.1 even more but someone should also take a look at initialization times

that numbers are the code below straight before our core-cms sends the output-buffer to the client

STATIC HTM:  158 us
STATIC PHP:  987 us

STATIC PHP is the cms-page saved as HTML but with .php as extension, no code, so 33% of the whole runtime is initialization of PHP - the 158 us is the same file with ,htm

that's mod_php - not CGI and so PHP is not unloaded between requests!
