It would seem that backport of is_uploaded function was not succesfull. This backport seems to use global variables that does not exist. This results to segmentation failure and apache crashing.

To reproduce this crash just use IMP either 2.0.x or 2.2.x and try attaching a attachment to mail.

Solution: remove references of is_upload function from functions/basic_functions.c and functions/basic_functions.h

Also copy functions/mime.c from php3 version 3.0.16. File mime.c in php3 3.0.17 seems to be broken in many ways. See bug#7198. This earlier version of mime.c removes references to undefined global variables.
