Can we please have alias of "function" as "func". Note this request is NOT to replace "function" word, but to allow also to use alias of it as in "func".

Function Name Now:
function test($str) { return trim($str); }

Function Name Wanted:
func test($str) { return trim($str); }

Why? What are the tangible benefits to doing this, besides saving four keystrokes? What problem does it solve? What will happen to the people who already use "func" for names?
