Hello !
I don't know if it is a bug or not, but I tried posting my problem on both and forums, but couldnot get any help.
So finally thought of putting it here.

I have got a problem related to the mail function of the PHP. We have recently upgraded to a newer version of
PHP ver. 4.0.1pl2 from ver. 3.0.16.

The mail function used to work in previous version properly with this syntax
mail($to_email, $subject, $txt) ;

in my PHP source codes embeded in HTML.

Now this function does not send any mails as before, and i don't get any returning mails too.

We also have moved our office and all equipment/servers recently. That has changed our development server (RedHat Linux's) IP address. We have re-configured our Apache to incorporate the new IP address, upgraded to version 4.0 of PHP and the whole site works perfect with the new version except the mail thing.

What could be wrong ?
Does it require any configuration that we could have missed out ? the php.ini-dist and php.ini-optimized sems to be the same for sendmail config. in both version 3.0 and 4.01.

Can anyone help me with this little problem of mine ?

Thanks in advance.

Bijal Kothari.
