I am using Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, and, trying out sample code from, however, it appears that the html sample provided is not returning any information from the class exemplified.

I tried on Google Chrome and IE11.

Is this a browser specific issue?

<? php

class Vehicle {

public function hok()

$bicycle = new Bicycle();

echo $bicycle->honk();

Test script:
One has to use manual testing with the sample code provided in the previous field, in order to allow me to proceed.

Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PHP itself. For a
list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PHP, please
visit as this bug system is not the
appropriate forum for asking support questions. Due to the volume
of reports we can not explain in detail here why your report is not
a bug. The support channels will be able to provide an explanation
for you.

Thank you for your interest in PHP.

The contributed example seems pretty useless (it also has been voted down by -55).
