Submitted: 2014-05-03 22:22 UTC Modified: 2014-05-03 23:09 UTC
From: bugzilla77 at gmail dot com Assigned:
Status: Duplicate Package: Streams related
PHP Version: 5.6.0beta2 OS: win 7
Private report: No CVE-ID: None

Description:
------------
; Whether PHP will read the POST data.
; This option is enabled by default.
; Most likely, you won't want to disable this option globally. It causes $_POST
; and $_FILES to always be empty; the only way you will be able to read the
; POST data will be through the php://input stream wrapper. This can be useful
; to proxy requests or to process the POST data in a memory efficient fashion.
;enable_post_data_reading = Off

READ CAREFULLY: the only way you will be able to read the POST data will be through the php://input stream wrapper

Test script:
---------------
set php.ini:

enable_post_data_reading = Off

and try to get POST data by

file_get_contents('php://input')

Expected result:
----------------
[POST data string]

(PHP 5.5 works perfect)

Actual result:
--------------
empty string
