Following is an example code. $db = sybase_connect("SERVER", "USER", "PASSWD"); $result = sybase_query("INSERT table (field1, field2) values(1, 2)", $db); $rows = sybase_affected_rows($db); Even after a successful insert, $rows is always 0. We are using Sybase ASE 11.0.3.3/P/Linux compile options. ./configure --with-sybase-ct=/opt/sybase --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs --enable-ftp --without-gd --enable-track-vars --enable-trans-sid
