When an error occurs, mkdir() return FALSE and emits an E_WARNING.

The E_WARNING is missing from the documentation:
http://uk1.php.net/manual/en/function.mkdir.php

Besides the documentation issue, file related functions are raising too much 
errors. IMHO.

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
