The File Allocation Monitor API (implemented by the old FAM as well as modern Gamin) allows monitoring requests to register a userdata pointer, that will be associated with the generated events.

Currently the fam_monitor_directory does not accept such argument from the PHP-scripts, and passes hardcoded NULL to FAMMonitorDirectory(). Other FAMMonitor* calls behave the same.

This would be a "low-hanging fruit", that could go a long way to making this extension more usable.

I'd be happy to create a patch, if a developer assured me, they'd be willing to work with me on merging the patch and preparing a new release (5.0.2?)...
