It seems functions like: "fopen, readfile, diskfreespace", fail to open mappings/shares. When I create a mapping s: it will not access it and tells me any file i try to access does not exist. When I create a shortcut, it still doesn't want to follow it. I could not find this is a documented behaviour.

My fault!!! Forget this, when running apache as service, shares/mappings are not available to that account.
