trying to install PHP with IBM HTTP Server 7 as my apache server with the command: ./configure --with-apxs=/usr/IBM/HTTPServer7/bin/apxs  

Error:

configure:22086: gcc -o conftest -g -O2 -fvisibility=hidden   -L/opt/freeware/lib -L/opt/freeware/lib conftest.c

         -lrt -lm  -lxml2 -lz -liconv -lm 1>&5
configure: In function 'main':

configure: failed program was:

Is this issue still present with any of the actively supported PHP
versions[1] and a somewhat recent IBM HTTP Server version?
