Hello, and before anything, thank you for your great work with this extension. I 
think it is magnificent :)

Anyway, when trying to install the latest version from PECL I get: 

downloading mysqlnd_ms-1.2.2.tgz ...
Starting to download mysqlnd_ms-1.2.2.tgz (337,534 bytes)
................................................done: 337,534 bytes
ERROR: bad md5sum for file /tmp/pear/temp/mysqlnd_ms/package.xml

Test script:
---------------
$ sudo pecl install mysqlnd_ms


Expected result:
----------------
It should be installed correctly

Actual result:
--------------
It doesn't get installed.

Hmm, is it the same with the later 1.3 releases? If only one older release is affected, we may want to close this bug and forget about it.

just delete the line that says package.xml in package.xml and then sudo pecl 
install mysqlnd_ms[version].tar

can not erase the line that says package.xml to package.xml because when you run 
the command sudo pecl install mysqlnd_ms it downloads the file or take advantage 
of. tgz which already owns the temporary folder and extract to try to run. in any 
case remains unsolved
