Description:
------------
$ ./configure --with-unixODBC

Notice: Following unknown configure options were used:

--with-unixODBC

Check './configure --help' for available options

From ./configure --help:

  --with-esoob[=DIR] Include Easysoft OOB support [/usr/local/easysoft/oob/client]
  --with-unixODBC[=DIR]   Include unixODBC support [/usr/local]
  --with-dbmaker[=DIR]    Include DBMaker support

NOTE: I DID rebuild the configure script with ./buildconf --force to include the ibm db2 and pdo libs. I didn't check the above prior to rebuilding it.

PHP source distribution includes unixODBC option in configure script and I don't see this issue.
Are you using source distribution? Have issue with newer PHPs?

This happened over two years ago and I haven't tried it since. I'm using DB2 now so I must have found a work around, but thanks for the prompt response.
