Nobody answered, so I thought I can respond to you. This was just discussed in the german translator mailing list. It seems that some XML structure mistakes 
prevented the auto docu build system to build the documentation. I think this caused automatically that the documentation hasn't been available for downloading.

Unless nobody is going to break the documentation until friday, this should be 
fixed.

We finally got a clean German build yesterday, so the docs download is available again!
