From manual page: http://www.php.net/function.array-slice#refsect1-function.array-slice-description

The following not is ambiguous:
"Note: This function will reset() the array pointer after use."

Which array pointer, of the input or output array?

Obviously input.
The output array is a new array, which by default has its pointer reset.

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better.

Changed to "Note: This function will reset() the array pointer of the input array
after use."
