Ok. Try this.

$doc = xmldocfile( $myFile );
$root = $doc->root();
$parent = $root->parent();

This produces a beautiful segmentation fault.

No feedback. If problem still exists when using php4.0.3 (released real soon now) reopen this bug report with
shortest possible XML-file to reproduce this problem.
