I am running Solaris 7, Php 4.0.0 with Apache 3.1.12. I have a single script that parses the user input and includes some files into a template. Sort of like Apache SSI. Everything works great, however every so often I would get the following error Cannot find server or DNS Error. If I Refresh the page, or go back and re-click the same link the page will most likely load properly. I did some searching and found another post relating to the same problem and php3.

I just spoke with another developer who has the same problem. He is using SSL and apparently the problem goes away when ssl is removed. I, on the other hand, am not using SSL. The common thread here seems to be IE 5.5 except of the case of this problem with php3.
I don't know what else to say, expcept I suspect its the problem with the Headers sent. This is a total guess only based on the fact that the error happens without much data being recieved.

If it?s specific to IE5.5 it?s no PHP bug. However you can upgrade to the latest PHP version and/or telnet your server and request that script and watch the output.
