Hi

I'm trying to get php 5.3.1 final running with all our used pecl-extensions and "gdchart.so" does compile but can not be loaded

I am also having this problem. I've successfully built gdchart-0.2.0 with php-5.3.6, but the following happens when executing php:

Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php/modules/gdchart.so' - /usr/lib/php/modules/gdchart.so: undefined symbol: php_gd_gdFontMediumBold in Unknown on line 0
Nothing to upgrade

We are running Fedora 13.

Sorry, that error message should not include "Nothing to upgrade." It was included by mistake, after copying and pasting the output from a pear command.
