Description:
------------
Our python modules write informal, warning and error messages
to stdout stderr. Using them from within python requires that
these messages appear on PHP:OUTPUT and can be captured by
the standard output buffering mechanism of PHP.

Python's sys.stdout/sys.stderr streams should be using the same underlying STDOUT/STDERR file descriptors as PHP.

One option would be to add the ability to redirect Python's sys.stdout/sys.stderr streams to a unique PHP stream. That would let the user capture output sent to python://stdout and python://stderr by registering a stream wrapper (via stream_wrapper_register).

What other options should I consider?

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the
end of next Sunday (CET) on pecl.php.net.

In case this was a pecl.php.net website problem, the change will show
up on the website in short time.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PECL better.
