Description:
------------
When using HttpRequestPool::socketSelect the function will potentially block for one second. The timeout is not customizable.

In the source file http_request_pool_api.c

the current timeout is defined by the function curl_multi_timeout if that call fails it defaults to 1 sec 0 usecs.

Despite having an appropriate curl lib installed 7.2.18 it always seems to fallback on the default, which is one second. I don't know libcurl well enough to know if this is a bug or if it is something that can be improved upon.
