Need to be able to access MetaData from an active statement.  Although column names are available from an OCI_ASSOC call, they do not contain the associated table names from a query.  We are currently parsing the SQL query to extract column table names on queries as a work-around but this is less than optimal.  The problem may go as deep as OCILIB in which case this may be a difficult feature to implement.

It is an Oracle database limitation.  From the Oracle 11g documentation "The table name is not returned by OCIDescribeAny() or the implicit use of OCIStmtExecute()".  If Oracle ever changes, we'll revisit OCI8's metadata.
