Description:
------------
It would be real nifty if this error message could be a bit more informative about which IP/server:port it can't connect to or something...

It took me a lot of tracking down to find out that it just means that one of our memcache servers is refusing connections.

Or, at least, I think that's what it means, since they are...

It's possible that it means something entirely different and I'm on the wrong track here.

But as it stands, it's not enough info to really get one's teeth into the problem, and I suspect it could easily include some specifics.

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the
end of next Sunday (CET) on pecl.php.net.

In case this was a pecl.php.net website problem, the change will show
up on the website in short time.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PECL better.

The error is actually caused by calling methods on a pool which doesn't have any servers connected, for example a Memcache object where connect() has failed or where addServer() has never been called.

I've changed the error message to be a bit more descriptive.
