Bug #57840 Wrong file indexes in log file
Submitted: 2007-09-14 02:08 UTC Modified: 2015-02-26 07:37 UTC
From: dinumarina at gmail dot com Assigned:
Status: Suspended Package: apd (PECL)
PHP Version: 5.1.6 OS: FC6
Private report: No CVE-ID: None
[2007-09-14 02:08 UTC] dinumarina at gmail dot com
Description:
------------
When include()-ing php files, the file index value in the + and @ lines of the log are wrong, getting mixed between the include files. The line numbers are right, but the file index not. I also note that file index value 2 is skipped (could this be related?)

Reproduce code:
---------------
http://exteon.ro/apd-bug.tgz

: run a.php

Expected result:
----------------
...

+ 4 1 15
& 5 a 2
+ 5 3 3
@ 3 -2136829016 0 1000 271
- 5 134217728
+ 5 3 9
@ 3 -2136829016 0 0 16
- 5 134217728
@ 1 18536689 0 0 9
- 4 134217728

Actual result:
--------------
...

+ 4 3 15
& 5 a 2
+ 5 1 3
@ 1 -2136829016 0 1000 271
- 5 134217728
+ 5 1 9
@ 1 -2136829016 0 0 16
- 5 134217728
@ 1 18536689 0 0 9
- 4 134217728

The line numbers obviously match b.php code and even more obviously a() is executed first 2 times in b.php, but the log reports all calls originating from a.php. Same with timing records. Also the -2136829016 is a nice artefact :D

APD hasn't had a release in 10 years, this means it's source code is way out of sync with modern PHP.

I'm going to mark this bug as suspended, the report can still be found if a maintainer for APD comes forward.

Sorry about the wait.
