Well I just sent a bug report about php4x but I found out that when I use php.ini-optimized that there are some probs with phpmyadmin ...

Well, that?s not PHP4s problem, that?s phpmyadmin?s (or better, it?s yours).
You should enable register_globals, then phpmyadmin will work.
Please read about using HTTP_*_VARS and what register_globals will do for you...
