Bug #57658 runkit_class_adopt fails on method names with capitals
Submitted: 2007-05-09 09:19 UTC Modified: 2013-02-23 18:54 UTC
From: ron at ttvavanti dot nl Assigned: pollita (profile)
Status: Closed Package: runkit (PECL)
PHP Version: 5.2.1 OS: Linux
Private report: No CVE-ID: None
 [2007-05-09 09:19 UTC] ron at ttvavanti dot nl
Description:
------------
Trying to adopt classes fails when there are capitals in the code.

Reproduce code:
---------------
Works:
class A { function ab() { print "a";} }
class B { function ab() { print "b";} }
runkit_class_adopt("B", "A");

Fails:
class A { function aB() { print "a";} }
class B { function aB() { print "b";} }
runkit_class_adopt("B", "A");

WIth: Error inheriting parent method: aB();

Commenting line 86 in runkit_class.c seems to fix this.
