Private report: No CVE-ID: None

Description:
------------
Hi,

I'm trying to report a bug with the php_threads.dll package which causes PHP to crash but I cannot find the bug-reporting page for it. In fact, I cannot find the threads page. Perhaps you can pass the report on.

Anyway, I have verified that the threads package causes php to crash when run from the command line. I have tested this numerous times and can vouch that it is the cause.

Thanks.

Reproduce code:
---------------
//none necessary, just run the interpreter from the command line, press F6, then Enter
//when the threads package is enabled, PHP crashes, when it's not, it doesn't

Expected result:
----------------
Nothing, it should execute the [empty] code and quit to the command prompt

Actual result:
--------------
Windows GPF crash dialog

Let me know if there's any debug/log info I can provide.

They did not release any package after it was moved to pecl. It is not a bug in our website.

I assign this bug to one of his author.

Ah, I see. I came here to report it because on the main site a similar bug report was directed here:

moving to pecl package threads

the Thread package is just a proof of concept - The fact that it works at all is a miracle...

Suspending - no-one AFAIK is working on this so unless a patch is posted, it will not get fixed.

The package is known not to work.

Not much point in reporting bugs on it without patches.
