By accident I created an invalid non containment reference in an XML input file. SDO read it without complaint but did write the referencing attribute out again.

I'm not sure that the actual result is incorrect but if it is we should print a message from SDO saying that it tried to read an invalid non containment relationship

Even with what I believe to be valid data object references set up SDO doesn't write out the property reference attribute having read them in.

I note that Bi-directional relationships are specifically not supported in the code as it stands (see the manual). However uni-directional references appear to be affected (regarless of the name of the elements in my supplied test XML)

I think you're probably describing a Tuscany problem, but there's no link in the defect and I don't see an obvious issue which corresponds. Please either add a link, or if this is a problem with the PHP extension, confirm that it still exists with the latest release.
