Tried the following with no luck, same error:

1) --enable-apc-mmap
2) --enable-apc-shm
3) --enable-apc

Also tried the OS X shm tip from here.

Didn't help. 

Machine: iMac intel duo.

This is my first time trying OS X PHP with APC. Linux works fine.
