Description:
------------
Hi Grant,

I'm looking for a php extension which supports ingres (2.0/2.6/r3) on the platform openvms (7.3-2). Is it possible to use the existing extension by recompiling on openvms?

The php build for VMS we have in use is

CSWS_PHP for HP Secure Web Server
for OpenVMS (based on Apache)

CSWS_PHP V1.3 for OpenVMS Alpha, based on PHP 4.3.10
CPQ-AXPVMS-CSWS_PHP-V0103--1.PCSI_SFX_AXPEXE

More information you can find on HP's page

http://h71000.www7.hp.com/openvms/products/ips/apache/csws_php.html

With kind regards

Hi Michael,

I have recently submitted a change into CVS that addresses the ability to build the extension on OpenVMS using HP's CSWS_PHP kit. You will however need some files from me as the supplied PHPSHR.EXE is missing a few symbols. HP has plans to update the ECO kit some time soon. However I can supply a replacement PHP.EXE and PHPSHR.EXE.

regards

grant

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the
end of next Sunday (CET) on pecl.php.net.

In case this was a pecl.php.net website problem, the change will show
up on the website in short time.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PECL better.
