Bug #56627 incorrect iters count for OCIStmtExecute
Submitted: 2005-11-04 13:10 UTC Modified: 2005-11-04 13:11 UTC
From: wez@php.net Assigned: wez (profile)
Status: Closed Package: PDO_OCI (PECL)
PHP Version: 5_1 CVS-2005-11-04 (dev) OS: Windows
Private report: No CVE-ID: None
 [2005-11-04 13:10 UTC] wez@php.net
Description:
------------
The following was reported via my blog.

"I got the PHP Win32 Package at http://snaps.php.net/ (php5.1-win32-200511041130.zip)."

Reproduce code:
---------------
<?php
	error_reporting(E_ALL);
	ini_set( "display_errors", "1" );
	ini_set( "track_errors", "1" );

	$conn = new PDO( "oci:dbname=oracle", "isoweb", "isoweb" );

	$query = "SELECT NOME FROM DOC_TIPO_ARQUIVO";

	$sth = $conn->prepare( $query );
	$sth->execute();

	while( $row = $sth->fetch() ){
		print "<BR>NOME: " . $row[NOME];
	}

	print_r( $sth->errorInfo() );

	$sth = NULL;
	$conn = NULL;
?>

Expected result:
----------------
The query to work

Actual result:
--------------
Array ( [0] => HY000 [1] => 24374 [2] => OCIStmtFetch: ORA-24374: define not done before fetch or execute and fetch (ext\pdo_oci\oci_statement.c:446) )

If I try to execute an Update Statement I get:

Array ( [0] => HY000 [1] => 24374 [2] => OCIStmtFetch: ORA-24374: zero iteration count (ext\pdo_oci\oci_statement.c:446) )
