When I try to install the memcache extension using pear (PHP 4.3.7, Solaris 8 / SPARC), I get the following output :-

# sudo pear install memcache

I tried 

pear install memcache

but it fails! PHPIZE can't locate "aclocal", so install stops. Please help!

So, this is the situation:
