Please provide some additional feedback. I haven't yet experienced a problem with the password. How is this bug reproducable, in detail ...

a) The problems occur *after* you submitted the bug, e.g. when you try to edit it afterwards?
b) Did you enter any special characters in your password?
c) Did you maybe click on a direct link from an email or how did you reach the bug where you needed to type in the password again?

I just searched for this bug and clicked on its link, then went to Edit Submission and typed in my password (and comment). The password has no special characters at all.

Hmmmm, this only happens in Mozilla Firefox. The password field is already filled out for me although I have removed all saved passwords for the site.

In fact, the HTML has a value in it which appears to be an md5 hash:

If I remove the PEAR_PW cookie (from my PEAR login I assume) the problem goes away. Am I supposed to use the same password for both bugs and my login?

Actually, they are the same password, so that shouldn't be the problem...it's just the cookie.
