PHP Version: 5.3.8 OS:
Private report: No CVE-ID: None
[2011-09-02 10:24 UTC] php at menace dot co dot nz
Description:
------------
---
From manual page: http://www.php.net/function.socket-set-nonblock%23Description
---
<quote>When an operation (e.g. receive, send, connect, accept, ...) is performed on a non-blocking socket, the script not pause its execution until it receives a signal or it can perform the operation. Rather, if the operation would result in a block, the called function will fail. </quote>

The sentence isn't clear and requires some revised grammar.

Expected result:
----------------
When an operation (e.g. receive, send, connect, accept, ...) is performed on a non-blocking socket, the script will not pause its execution until it receives a signal or it can perform the operation. If the operation results in a blocked socket the function will fail.

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better.

I added the missing "will", but I left the second sentence as-is, as I think it's clearer the way it is now.
