Doc Bug #55178 Japanese mistranslated equivalent
Submitted: 2011-07-11 07:24 UTC Modified: 2011-07-11 12:01 UTC
From: maruma246 at gmail dot com Assigned: takagi (profile)
Status: Closed Package: MySQL related
PHP Version: 5.3.6 OS: Any
Private report: No CVE-ID: None
[2011-07-11 07:24 UTC] maruma246 at gmail dot com
Description:
------------
I was really surprised when I found "mysql_list_tables" function was expressed with a Japanese word meaning "disused" at 'change Log' on PHP manual in Japanese, because "mysql_list_tables" was "functioned" on "XAMPP 1.7.4(PHP 5.3.5)" environment (WinXP SP3). (which was actually mistranslated of "deprecated".)
The manual also includes another Japanese word exactly meaning "deprecated". So I was nearly paniced at possibility that all "disused" functions (some are probably "dangerous") are still alive!
The Japanese manual may need "sanitization" of equivalent.

Expected result:
----------------
Just check equivalents for "deprecated".
