From manual page:

According to the english description of the 4th parameter ($serialize) "serialize defaults to TRUE..." I think the prototype should mention its default value. This prototype should be more accurate :

bool msg_send ( resource $queue , int $msgtype , mixed $message [, bool $serialize = true [, bool $blocking [, int &$errorcode ]]] )

Expected result:
bool msg_send ( resource $queue , int $msgtype , mixed $message [, bool $serialize = true [, bool $blocking [, int &$errorcode ]]] )

Actual result:
bool msg_send ( resource $queue , int $msgtype , mixed $message [, bool $serialize [, bool $blocking [, int &$errorcode ]]] )

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better.
