It would be nice (reduces lines in code) when stripslashes could handle arrays. 
For example stripslashes($_COOKIE);

You can already do this with array_map():

$cookies = array_map('stripslashes', $_COOKIE);

I don't think there's any need to special case stripslashes() to handle arrays when there's already a generic method to accomplish this.
