Bug #5411 Apache segfaults when using sessions with MM support
Submitted: 2000-07-06 18:05 UTC Modified: 2000-08-20 02:52 UTC
From: mphillip at poss dot com Assigned:
Status: Closed Package: Reproducible Crash
PHP Version: 4.0 Latest CVS (06/07/2000) OS: Linux 2.2.12
Private report: No CVE-ID: None
[2000-07-06 18:05 UTC] mphillip at poss dot com
Compiled latest CVS with:
    --with-mysql \
    --with-ldap=/usr/local/openldap \
    --with-ftp \
    --with-imap \
    --enable-wddx \
    --with-gettext \
    --with-readline \
    --with-mm \
    --enable-sysvsem \
    --enable-sysvshm \
    --with-oci8=/usr/local/oracle/product/8.0.5 \
    --with-java=/usr/local/java \
    --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs \
    --with-config-file-path=/usr/local/apache/conf \
    --enable-track-vars

Sessions work fine with session.save_handler = files, but Apache segfaults with session.save_handler = mm. I've tried mm versions 1.1.3, 1.1.2, 1.0.11, and 1.0.12 in my attempts to get this working.

Please verify that it?s still happening using the latest version from CVS or snaps.php.net.
