Hi,

I tried the example#1 from the "htmlspecialchars" description (copy and pasted it into my php-file).

But in IE6 the <a...> stays like it is, no HTML characters converted.

The inner workings and outputs of functions does not depend on the browser used, so it must be a fault in your script or outdated cache -> Bogus.
