With the introduction of namespaces into PHP, it would be useful if the documentation system, including the doc-gen script, had support for namespaces.

Do we have an example of any extension using namespaces?

We currently haven't considered how to markup namespaced things either..

Um, PECL/Cairo has a namespace-using branch 
( Other than that my 
libnotify extension ( uses namespacing.
