A bug just reported in this system and marked closed reappears in 4.0.1. After a while the server is up, executing a php script with reference to undefined variables produces a lot of "undefined variable" warnings. This clutters a lot of working script generated pages. A simple "killall -HUP httpd" ("/etc/rc.d/init.d/http reload", in RedHat 6.2) is enough for the bug to disappear for a while. Sincerely I don't understand the fact that a lot of bug reports about this problem are marked as closed without any word of explanation. Usally if one marks as close a bug tells in which version it has been closed, or how to overcame it. Hope this helps...
