I have PHP 5.3.3 and libiconv 1.13 on a Solaris machine.

When I run the following script. it coredumps.
The same script runs fine with PHP 5.2.6 and libiconv 1.11.

$ more test.php
$str = "économiques";
$str = iconv('UTF-8', 'UTF-8//IGNORE', $str);

print "$str\n";

$php test.php
Segmentation Fault (core dumped)

Test script:
$str = "économiques";
$str = iconv('UTF-8', 'UTF-8//IGNORE', $str);

print "$str\n";

if you install with source code, before make, replace ext/iconv with same folder in PHP-5.2.0

succeeded in PHP-5.2.16 on solaris 10 sparc
