Doc Bug #52877 Incorrect example
Submitted: 2010-09-18 06:07 UTC Modified: 2010-10-20 08:09 UTC
From: jon at phpsitesolutions dot com Assigned: kalle (profile)
Status: Closed Package: Documentation problem
PHP Version: Irrelevant OS:
Private report: No CVE-ID: None

Description:
------------
http://us.php.net/manual/en/memcached.fetch.php

The example displayed has incorrect expected output.
It states that the output would look something like:
array(
    array(),
    array()
)

That is not correct. The docs state that the function returns the next result,
which means the output would look like:
array()
array()

So either the expected output is incorrect, or the docs are incorrect.

I've assigned this to Andrei as he is the package maintainer and can comment further on this issue.

Indeed I can confirm this behaviour with latest git revision of memcached, fixed in SVN
